Bitera Services is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy.

• Email address (for registration and communication)
• Password (stored encrypted)
• Played cards and category preferences (to track progress)
• Payment details (processed by Mollie — we do not store payment data)
• IP address and technical data (for security and analytics)

3. How we use your data

• To provide and improve the service
• To process payments and subscriptions
• To track played cards and avoid repetition
• To send transactional emails (e.g. subscription confirmation)

4. Payments via Mollie

Payments are processed by Mollie B.V. Your payment details are passed directly to Mollie and are not stored by us. Mollie's own privacy policy applies to their processing of your data.

5. Retention period

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, your data is removed within 30 days, unless a legal retention obligation applies.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, and export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at bitera-nl@proton.me. We will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

7. Cookies

We use functional cookies that are necessary for the operation of the service (session management, authentication). No tracking or advertising cookies are placed.
